Investing in the Future of British Steel Construction
Starting off 2026 with great news, we’re delighted to say that we’ve made a large investment into our equipment fleet with exciting new upgrades and vehicles! This not only furthers our capabilities but will also improve on site efficiency.
Precision, speed, and safety are the three pillars of modern steel construction. To ensure we continue delivering at the highest standard for our UK agricultural and commercial clients, we are thrilled to announce a significant capital investment in our heavy plant and site logistics fleet. This isn’t just an investment in machinery; it is a commitment to the efficiency of every project we undertake.
Master of the Site: Our New All-Terrain Telehandlers
A steel building is only as good as its assembly, and assembly begins with how materials are handled on-site. We have bolstered our fleet with the latest heavy-lift telehandlers, specifically chosen for their performance in the unpredictable UK climate.
When ground conditions turn from firm to boggy in an afternoon, these all-terrain vehicles ensure that project timelines remain on track. With a massive 18-metre reach and high-torque engines, they allow our teams to position heavy rafters and purlins with surgical precision, even on restricted or uneven sites.
Lifting with Confidence: The State-of-the-Art Mobile Crane
For our larger clear-span commercial projects, we have introduced a new compact mobile crane to our arsenal. In the past, relying on external plant hire could lead to logistical bottlenecks. By bringing this capability in-house, we offer:
-
Tandem Lift Capability: Safely handling oversized portal frames that require synchronised movement.
-
Reduced Site Footprint: The advanced outrigger technology allows for maximum lifting capacity within a smaller “set-up” zone, ideal for infill builds or busy farmyards.
-
Enhanced Safety Sensors: Integrated 360-degree cameras and load-monitoring systems that provide real-time data to the operator, virtually eliminating the risk of over-extension.
Streamlined Logistics and Faster Handover
Every hour saved in moving materials is an hour gained in the construction phase. These new assets mean fewer “dry hires,” more reliable schedules, and a significantly safer environment for our site crews. Whether we are navigating a tight industrial estate or a remote hillside, our new equipment ensures that your steel frame goes up safely, correctly, and on time.
We aren’t just building for the future; we are moving toward it with the best tools in the industry.
